The idea for a footballwall is from Drees Kroes, projectleader at ”scoring in the neighborhood’ at FC Twente. He took this idea to Yalp, a company that develops and sells playing devices. Because Yalp and KITT Engineering already worked together on another interactive playing device, called the YalpSona, the collaboration was a logical step. Together with the city of Hengelo, the foundation FC Twente ‘scoring in the neighborhood’, Yalp and KITT Engineering the first SUTU was realized at the FBK Stadium in Hengelo, Holland.
